About

My name is Francesca Freeman and I am a student genocide prevention activist. I am a fourth year at the University of Chicago where I study Comparative Race and Ethnic Studies, Anthropology, and Human Rights. I am also the Student Director of STAND, the Student Led Movement to End Mass Atrocities.

This blog contains my reflections on different conflicts happening across the world (primarily focusing on Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, and the Congo), on structural genocide prevention issues, and on student activism. IMG_9250.JPG
